Natural Hotel on Trees, Sustainable Treehotel in Sweden

I guess I have to say that this natural hotel is definitely green. This green hotel is just located at precisely 60 km from South of the Arctic Circle in Harads, Sweden. The Treehotel is an innovative accommodation project where the building besides providing natural environment surrounding, it’s also environmentally friendly. No trees have been harmed here and that means no chopping off any trees around. The environmentally friendly hotel consists of four individual rooms where all have a unique distinctive design.

The Mirrorcube designed by Tham & Videgard Architects, where a 4 meters cube covered with reflecting glass is the most well known one out of the rest of the natural building. It allows guests to have a 360 degree view towards the natural environment.

Besides Mirrorcube you can see, The Cabin, The Blue Cone and The Nest (a camouflaged building by InredningsGruppen) which are waiting for your visit. The initiators of this project, Jonsson Lindvall and Kent Lindvall said that in the future there will be 24 different tree buildings designed by 24 architects. And for our suggestion perhaps they should make a Tree Restaurant to make the place more cheerful and enjoyable. But that was just our idea, so what do you have to say about this project? I’m sure it’s unique and interesting.
