Johan Sundberg Architects have designed the interior of Optiker Branning store in Lilla Fiskaregatan 6, Lund/Malmo region,Sweden. The leading optician clinic & store need to expand its facilities, so that they commisioned the architects to creates the larger open shop space with optional exposure to the pedestrian area and two new examination rooms. The design combines white ash veneer with details in oiled oak. Indirectly lit wall paneling,furniture and fittings with a high level of finishing details are aspiring to create a sense of visiting a luxurious private clinic. The interior is designed discrete and takes a few steps back in order to highlight the most important element of the store, especially the products at sale. The architects also plan the lighting, custom-designed furniture and fixed fittings,building exterior, signs, labels and movable furnishings.
