Small Japanese Minimalist House, The WBE House by AUAU Architecture

Located in urban neighborhood doesn’t mean that you can’t get the house of your dream. Even in a dense populated area in Kasugai, Japan, a Nagoya architecture studio AUAU has produced The WBE House, a project design which was completed in 2010.

The small house design is cozy and it is two story residence which was built on a narrow area. The space is mini and certainly is you can’t get anything far than a minimalist residence, but although it’s small, the house is very calm and indeed soothing. Now this is the best part of Japanese house and what Japanese architecture is good at, “creating Zen space, no matter how small the area given to them”.

The home design is simple but it has a modern façade. This minimalist Japanese home is made out of geometric combination from wood and concrete. It’s is amazing to see how small house can still have easy access for cars. How do you like this contemporary living space?
