My Ceiling Revisited…
You may remember that I was debating a possible update to my home renovation.
I initially wanted to add mirror to the ceiling of my living room, but unfortunately that idea didn’t pan out. The mirror would have reflected the gap created by the cove ceiling — not a pretty sight.
Also, after getting some installation estimates, it was a little more than I had budgeted for the project.
Instead, I’ve been exploring other options to add more light without using mirrors. I picked up a few swatches of metallic wallcoverings to see if they might work as well (or even better).
Another option would be to use a high-gloss paint or a paint with a metallic finish like Martha’s precious metals collections at the Home Depot.

Metallic wallcoverings are a great accent that can add additional light to a space and inject a little glamour at the same time.
