This summer we’ve had students, parents and teachers help maintain the garden, which was not an easy task with the extreme heat and dry weather we’ve experienced over the hot summer break. We’ve welcomed people from the neighborhood who stroll through the garden, joggers that pass by on their way to the park, and even one very spunky, green bean–loving dog that romps through the garden regularly.
