If you listen closely, a collective sigh can be heard from gardeners around the West Coast. We had a royally bad summer. It was cold. It was cloudy. It was horrible tomato weather.
In the spirit of looking on the bright side, I’d like to think that this crummy season gives us the opportunity to try some new green tomato recipes. I asked for your ideas and you guys really came through, submitting recipes for everything from chutney, to sweet and savory pies, to green tomato jam, to fried tomatoes and “unfried” tomatoes.

I’d like to call this interesting project designed by Peter Gluck and Partners Architects as an almost hidden house. The house isn’t exactly a two storey house design but yes you can call it a two storey. Pool Pavilion is located in Adirondack Mountain, New York, just near Lake George. This house was likely shady for sure as the building is really down to earth. I love the exterior which is so fresh and natural with vivid green grass spreading all over the place.
Unlike any other house, this lake house first floor (the one on the top) is used as a home office and guarding point where down at the underground is where you have your living room and socialize there. Alt
